Cookie Policy

CoopSignal uses only the minimum cookies required to run the service. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, which is why the site does not show a cookie consent banner.

What we set

Authentication

Supabase sets an sb-* cookie containing your login session token. Without this cookie you cannot stay signed in. It is HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax, and expires at the end of your session or after you sign out.

Preferences

• lang — your preferred UI language (en or es). Set when you complete onboarding or change language in the account page. Expires in one year.
• onboarding_dismissed — one-day cookie set when you skip the onboarding modal so it doesn’t reopen on every page load during the same session. Expires in 24 hours.

Billing

When you proceed to checkout, Stripe sets its own session cookies on checkout.stripe.com and billing.stripe.com. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy.

What we do NOT set

• No advertising cookies.
• No third-party tracking pixels.
• No Google Analytics cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design.
• No cross-site tracking.

Clearing cookies

You can clear cookies at any time from your browser. Clearing the Supabase cookie signs you out of CoopSignal. Clearing the lang cookie resets the UI to English (or the language implied by your browser).
